
ANDY GRANT - Business Manager
Joining ASG E-Guard after a 31 year career as a Warfare Officer in the Royal New Zealand Navy, Andy has a very wide range of diverse organisational experience, with an excellent ability to lead complex and disparate operational functions. Andy can draw on a broad range of experiences from many roles; including military security and aviation, and apply them to his role as the Business Manager of ASG E-Guard Ltd.
Culminating his sea-going career as the Captain of the frigate HMNZS TE KAHA, Andy took his ship and team to many parts of the world and received a prestigious Sir Peter Blake Trust Leadership Award in 2007.
Andy now leads the talented ASG E-Guard team, as they look to find innovative solutions to the emerging security problems.

TERESE MARR
Chief Encouragement Officer
Terese has a Bach Ed, and Dip Teaching from Waikato University, beginning her career as a Primary and Intermediate School Teacher in South Auckland. She then continued on to study Educational Leadership with Massey University and Community based Not-For-Profit Leadership with L.E.A.D.
She also was the Group Human Resources Manager for TPT Group and has held various Governance roles within the education sector, as well as on other commercial boards.
Terese lives in Pukekohe with Mike and one of her teenagers. At least two of her family have ADHD and so she is passionate about providing strong support for students and their families on the ADHD journey, particularly within the mainstream school system, plus changing mindsets around ADHD within the community, so that it is celebrated as an asset, rather than a deficit.

HEIDI BRAKS
ADDVenturers Operations Manager
Heidi oversees all of the ADHD support services for our Runway community including the hosting of our Parent Support Groups. She has lived locally for over 20 years and has a background as a Primary School Teacher including a period as a SENCO, providing support services for children with additional needs within the mainstream school system.
Heidi's passion is to see individuals being supported to overcome obstacles to become more than they ever thought they could be.
Heidi lives in Tuakau with her husband David, and three children.

MELLISSA GALLICHAN
ADDventurers Kids Club Facilitator & Student Support
Mellissa started out her career as an Early Childhood Teacher and joined The Runway Foundation ADDVenturers programme full-time in 2020 after initailly working part-time. Mellissa facilitates the ADDventurers Kids Clubs as well as providing support for our Youth programme.
She is a qualified Early Childhood Education Teacher, is training in Youth Health & Well-being Support Services, and has widespread experience with child and youth support programmes through many years of volunteering in school holiday camps, as well as providing support working in camps for children with additional needs.
Mellissa has grown up on the Awhitu Peninsula and has a great love for the outdoors and her community.

KELVIN MOANA
Lead Youth Coach
Kelvin and his whanau have lived and invested into the local community for many years. Kelvin has a remarkable ability to connect with people of all ages, and builds a quick rapport with our young people, resulting in mentoring support that is safe, fun and impacting. Kelvin has a wealth of experience working with youth and children, working in spectrum care and as an early childhood teacher. Kelvin loves to get involved, especially when it is about helping others. He is married to Joanna, who also works in education, has 3 children, loves music and enjoys competing locally and nationally in Waka Ama.

LORELEI TURNEY
Counsellor
Lorelei Turney is the founder of Unforced Rhythms Counselling services, and partners with The Runway Foundation to support our Runway Community. Lorelei has many years of experience working with children, youth and families, and operates out of The Runway Community House to provide counselling sessions. She also provides invaluable support to our Kids Club Programmes, Youth Programmes and Parent Support Group.

ROGER TUPU TUIA
Ambassador
Roger is passionate about youth development in the Auckland region, and works in multiple ways to support youth who are at risk.
Runway were privileged to have his support in establishing our ADDventurers Youth Programme in its early stages and he has become an integral part of The Runway Foundation whanau, supporting us now as our ADDventurers Youth Ambassador.
Roger resides in Auckland with his wife Menimo and sons, Brandon, Tatele, Tristan and Bailey.

MIKE MARR
Board Member
Mike was born in Pukekohe and is a New Zealand Entrepreneur; he’s the Founder and Owner of TPT Group and he holds a number of Governance roles.
In 2020, Mike was acknowledged as a Blake Leader Awardee. This prestigious award recognises inspirational New Zealanders whose leadership style has delivered high-impact results and contributed to a more sustainable future for Aotearoa.
2017, he was one of two Global recipients of the Beta Gamma Sigma Medallion of Entrepreneurship (the first recipient to be awarded the global honour outside of the USA). The Medallion for Entrepreneurship is awarded to noteworthy Global Businesspeople who combine innovative business achievement with service to humanity. In 2014, he was a Fiinalist in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards for NZ.
Mike is a professional Director of electricity lines company Waipa Networks, Rhema Media, Eqalis Pharmaceuticals and he also sits on the AUT University Business School Advisory Board. He is also Chair of The Runway Foundation and was recently elected as a Trustee of Counties Energy Consumer Trust.

GUY ROOK
Board Member
Guy is an active Community Leader in South Auckland, bringing creativity, insightfulness and compassion to his multi-skilled roles. His background is in the visual arts arena, working in illustrating and photography editing in New Zealand and the UK, moving on to a career in joinery in New Zealand. Guy is involved in professional Organisational Governance, is an Ordained Church Minister and Co-Lead Pastor with his wife Kate Rook. Guy uses all of these skills to resourcefully, respectfully and passionately support and impact his community for the better.
Guy enjoys working with young people and loves to see them succeed in life. He resides in Waiuku with his wife and three young adult children.

KATE ROOK
Board Member
Kate is a dynamic and entrepreneurial Community Leader in South Auckland, with a background in the state education sector, in support roles including Chaplaincy. She has coordinated and run community education programmes for children, including school holiday programmes, children's leadership training, music for preschoolers, children's camps, events, and productions. Kate co-established the ADDventurers Kids Club services and Parent Support Group and oversaw the running of the Kids Clubs and Parent Support Group for their initial years. Kate has a background in banking, is an Ordained Minister, a Co-Lead Pastor with her husband Guy Rook, works in governance on Community Boards, and is not afraid of a challenge!
Kate loves to strengthen her community by working with and connecting people; desiring for individuals to be seen, heard, respected and empowered. Kate resides in Waiuku and is married with three young adult children.

CHRISTINA VAN DE WORP
Board Member
Christina has lived in Franklin most of her life and has been actively involved in the local community, especially as her children grew up. She enjoys working with people as well as well as helping and encouraging them to reach their goals.
Christina is currently supporting Aka Aka school with admin services and has been involved in working as a Support Person for International Students, helping them as they adjust to life in New Zealand. She has also worked as a Retail Manager and as a School Librarian. She is married and has two grown up children.
